How do you choose a therapist?
When you are selecting a therapist, it is a good
idea to call and have a brief conversation over the phone. Please feel
free to call and ask me any questions you
may have about how the therapeutic
process works, about my particular approach, as well as information
about fees and scheduling. This will give you an opportunity to get an
initial understanding about what is involved and a feel for our
connection and compatibility. I also recommend that potential clients
come in for at least an initial session in order to meet and confirm
that we are well suited to work together. There are many well-trained
therapists, and it is essential to find the person who is a good match

The relationship between client and therapist is
paramount to growth and transformation. In the therapeutic process each
participant—therapist and client—deepens their relationship
to the meaning of their lives, to the larger whole, and to the mystery
of the unknown. It is a process of soul-making. Together, therapist and
client become partners in healing.
